2011 Sarcoma Research Grants: Applications close 30 September
Applications for the 2011 Sarcoma Research Grants close at 5pm Friday 30 September with the recipients announced at the Annual Sarcoma Conference on Saturday 15 October 2011 in Melbourne.
These grants are offered for 12 months for direct research costs for clinical or translational research into sarcomas. Selection criteria include track record and project feasibility, innovation and excellence with particular priority given to clinically focussed research.

Johanna Sewell Sarcoma Research Grant
In
honour of her daughter Johanna, who was diagnosed with bone cancer
(osteosarcoma) and tragically succumbed to this disease in 1989, Ms
Helen Sewell (AM) has donated $50,000 to the Australasian Sarcoma Study
Group to support sarcoma research.
Andrew Ursini Sarcoma Research Grant
